So far, the start of kindergarten has been a bit rough for my son JT. There are a whole bunch of reasons for this....Celiac Disease making him feel different, a very real need for routine and stability, a speech delay that can cause confusion and delay. (For all of you parents out there that are forced to sit through Thomas the Tank Engine, that is a Sir Topham Hat reference, "the confusion and delay" part.)
But things are slowly starting to get better for him. He is starting to get happier. I know this because of the skipping. He learned to skip in gym class and he now skips everywhere.
It is one of the most joyful things I have ever seen. I LOVE it. And we have all started skipping a little bit. And damn it, skipping is amazing. Skipping=joy.
I love skipping.
And so do a lot of other people. There are entire web sites and organizations devoted to skipping. I love that too.
Enjoy a short video, a few funny clips and then get on out their and skip. Skip and be happy damn it.
Check out this web site, where the tag line is "Choose joy over fear. Skip on." How can you not love that?
Funny skipping clips.
