I got back a couple days ago from our summer road trip. I live for these summer road trips. Every summer I go somewhere with my kids. I've done it for years. I was a little worried this year wouldn't be as great as the other summers. The older kids are very more eye-roll-y and cranky and don't want to be around me that much. The younger kids wrestle, a lot. I worried that my expectations were too high. BUT guess what...it exceeded my super high expectations. Sure the kids rolled their eyes a lot and the little boys wrestled and fought a lot, but there was also so many laughs and good times and adventure and ahhhhhhh.
